Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is equipment that which protects the user against health or safety risks at work. Protective equipment helps to fight against the hazards like physical, electrical, heat, chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particulate matter.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) includes accessories like gloves, eye protection, safety helmets, safety footwear, high visibility clothing and safety harnesses.

Types of personal protective equipment:

Respiratory protection – disposable cartridge, airline, half or full face
Eye protection – spectacles/goggles, shields, visors
Hearing protection – ear muffs and plugs
Hand protection – gloves and barrier creams
